Question - OOG Cleric Healing

Can I use a higher level cleric out of my group to heal/buff my tank and possibly my group? I have a 92 Cleric and working on starting a new low lev group.

KissAssist can do that.

Out of Group Buffs - If they're on the same computer and same install of MQ2/KA, then they will read the KA buffs file and should rebuff each other.

You can use the |MA tag on buffs and an out-of-group toon will place those buffs on whoever you set as the "assist" when starting KA.

Alternatively you can use the |mgb tag on your group buffs. This will use the AA Tranquil Blessings to out-of-combat "mgb" buff everybody nearby when the cleric wants to rebuff themselves.

Out of Group Heals - You need to put all the PL group to your 92 cleric's extended target window (target each and then click an xtarget slot, set for current target.) So if you set the group to Xtarget slots 1-6, this KA [Heals] stuff will make the cleric watch and heal them with whatever heals you have set up.

I see how this will work with the xtarheal=1 and setting up the extended target window and I see how using MA, and MGB to buff the assist character selected when starting KA. Can it also be made to buff the other characters in group without using group buffs cast on MA? I am missing that part from reading your post. It could just be my lack of coffee so far this morning.

For out of group buffing and healing, I've found that ModBot does the best job. No need to use workarounds like KA requires. Link to it here: https://www.redguides.com/community/forums/woobs-world.133/

KissAssist will only buff other characters running KissAssist, or any macro that updates the KissAssist_Buffs.ini file.

Does this still work? I tried to have my bigger cleric baby sitting a smaller group last night and his first target kept changing off the tank and onto the mob and then not swapping back.

You have to turn on XTarHeals and setup XTarHealList to include your XTarget Entries you have pointed to the OOG members.
