I would like people to fill in here. What are the overpowered or odd items you know of in EQ? Anything that's simply still situationally good regardless of being old, proc clickys that seem to stack with everything else because of bugged coding or whatever, or just plain stupid but useful.
I'll start with Melodious Truncheon, Kunark bard only weapon that procs a mez which works up to level 999. Anything that's not immune to mez in EQ can be mezzed with this. The mez function itself is not very useful, but it does interrupt caster mobs.
You also have the Omens of War chest armor for shadowknights which gives a "lifetap from weapon damage" effect similar to Mortal Coil or epic 2.0.

Melodious Truncheon - Best mez in the game, but a weapon proc. Good for interruptions.
Duskbringer's Plate Chestguard of the Hateful - SK chest, gives a clicky like Mortal Coil, epic 2.0.
Bracelet of the Shadow Hive - Shrink clicky, usable while running.
Mysterious Belt of Daggers - Clicky throwing item summoner, usable by all classes.
Vermilion Sky Ring - Shaman Feign Death clicky.
Amulet of Necropotence - Skeleton illusion clicky, instant-cast.
Wristband of Secrets - Clicky 3 seconds cancel magic for all casters.
Abashi's Rod of Disempowerment - Clicky 3 seconds cancel magic for monks, berzerkers, beastlords and necromancers.
Breezeboot's Frigid Gnasher - Clicky knockback. The quest to recieve this has been taken out of the game, however it's still tradable on Firiona Vie.
Terror's Juju = Reverse Damage Shield clicky
Ghoulskin Shield = Reverse Damage Shield clicky
Fabled Ball of Golem Clay = Snare proc added to melee attacks
Mask of Vanishing = invis clicky
Totem of the Wurines = Divine aura clicky
Miniature Horn of Unity = Unity clicky
Diplomatic Papers = Defensive clicky (25% spell&melee mitigation)
Violet Conch of the Tempest - Spinecoat clicky, all classes. AC/DS buff that stacks with most anything it seems.
