Version of KissAssist.mac?
12.002
When did your problem start?
In the last week to 10 days
Character Role?
  1. Tank
What class is having this issue?
  1. Warrior
How often does this issue occur?
Often
Can you reproduce the issue?
Yes just hailing any npc that should not cause agro
I am now having the issue when I hail npc to get tasks r to complete part of a task my warrior will attack target. He attacks and will not drop agro even though target takes no damage or fights back. Sometimes even dropping kissassist does not alow me to switch targets. I do not believe I have changed any settings and not sure what to check.

Thank You

This almost sounds like a hotkey in EQ setup for attack that you are hitting unknowingly. KA should/would not attack anything without you initiating it or being hit first.

That's all I can think of. Check your mapped keys in the options of EQ.

Not pressing z so that is not problem and no chase assist as war is MT and MA

I believe Q is also a default attack key in EQ. It just seems as though it has to be that or some other automation running with a hotkey.

If movement keys are a,s,d,w...maybe your hitting 1 by mistake? I know I use q as attack and have hit it by mistake when doing quest stuff with my tank. Move the attack key maybe and see if it stops?
Also check mouse hotkeys if your mouse has any. That may cause it as well.

do you happen to have ran mq2groupinfo and used mimicme, etc? for some reason? I still think you had it trigger off something you did.

I have not changed anything and problem seems to be gone today. maybe was a issue with loading. I restarted everything this am. I am also not running mq2melee

I had this exact same problem awhile back.

What you need to do is use the /addignore command . Problem is you need to activate the MQ2 and wait for your character to target the NPC, then as it is doing it use the command in address bar.

Just remember every time you /end and go back to /kissassist on you will need to do the same thing all over again
