I am an on and off again player of EQ. Started back in 2001 and played in many high end raiding guilds. I would get burned out and quit EQ for another game for a month or two and come back. I would get into another large raiding guild and start it all over again. I then found Macroquest2 and started my own compiles. I was a dog at the time and started using the macro on their forums for rog assist (name?). It would not do anything until you issued a command to it for the rog to engage a Target. When it would engage it would do everything to kill said mob. Everything else was up to the operator. It sure made the long grind sessions much easier and less fatiguing.

I recently came back and started playing in Coirnav and that got me thinking of those old days and wanting that back again. I know it won?t from here and respect the admins decision. Just reminiscing of the old days.

Admins - you are great and run a great place / program. Keep up the great work.

Community - you guys are just as great and helpful. Since I found this place it has always been a great helpful community. Stay sane and nice. [emoji1][emoji106]

the macro was rogue helper and it was a nice macro at the time. All you had to do was issue a killthis to the rogue and it would engage and kill the mob.

yep it will trigger mq2melee to do stuff but back in the day rogue helper had pickpocket and burn discs and weapon swapping before backstabbing and would chase the mobs based on a leash stake that could be changed on the fly and begbuff abilities for getting buffs. Basically a kissassistrogue for 2004. Also back then mq2melee was limited on things it did, thanks to eqmule and other dev's plugins and macros have come a long ways from 2004 era to now.
