Tip - New Rallos Zek tradeskill earring

I would appreciate some advice on getting to 300, ive only managed to get JC to 300 so far, fletching 260, tailoring 160, brewing and pottery around 200, smithing 130 ish, its destroying my will to live and I only want to do it on my tank I could not imagine doing it on all 6.

Planar Overdose to max out (and to sell) for brewing.
Smithing...if tov stuff is super cheap, i'd say make cov Velium or Restless Velium Powder, then Velium Sheet/Chain, or Restless Velium Sheets/Chain (400)...if you want to go all the way down the rabbit holy make armor.
For Tailoring i'd go buy as much tov/cov silk and math the Velium Heavy or Restless Velium Heavy if it's cheap enough...if you use the approach above for maxing blacksmithing this is the other piece to make armor.
Fishing...sucks...hehe...Pottery...i'd go to brother's island and get a much Relic Fragments as you can and Make a whole bank full of Ceramic Statuttuetes. It's a pretyt awesome clicky pet (95ish maybe) you can spam on all your chars with a 4-5 minute timer. They sell really well too.

Just my two cents, hope that helps.

@quo are you leveling in ToV or CoV? Look up the recipes for those expansions. For me, at least, it was easiest to work that way because the mats were so plentiful

I moved to CoV, but have loads of ToV mats left, I gave all my CoV mats to someone to make me Tier 3 items as my TS were too low to make anything, looks like back to grinding,
Did not know fishing went to 250, I have that at 200.
Whats the deal with Tinkering, Poison and Alchemy do they have to be done on a specific class or race?

@quo I believe that most of the ToV / Cov dropped tradeskill items are simple combines that can take you all the way up to 300 in the respective skill.
And yes Tinkering = Gnome racial
Poison = Rogue class ability
Alchemy = Shaman ability

Smithing

Fletching

ToV baking (I forget the name of the CoV item)

So just keep those mats, after a while you will have a stack of 1000 and that should get you most of the way on most skills.

  1. Poison is class specific - Rogue - Velium Purifying to max out skill/trophy (Power sources key ingredient)
  2. Alchemy is class specific - Shaman - Velium Drying solution to max out skill/trophy (Power source key ingredient)
  3. Tinkering is race specific - Gnome - Velium Core Mana Battery to max out skill/trophy (Power source key ingredient)
To max out using the route above you'll need lots of Raw Velium Ore, Velium Impacted Diamonds, and some store bought components. If you have your earring you'll be able to make lots of cool power sources that sell really well.

Pro-tip: if anyone'se selling purified water on your server buy them out...it'll save you loads of time.

So let me see if I can understand this right - to get this earring you have to start with the solstice earring and follow through or you just start with All Hail the cleansing??

you do not need solstice earring to start this one

well, depending on how uber you want to be, it is still worth doing the artisan prize
Ok thanks, I somehow thought it was needed to do the RZ earring. Guess I will do both :) Thanks for the clarification!

Which is an insane gift, since evolving gear exp is entirely based on the con of the mob. You want to be killing even cons as fast as possible to evolve the earring as quickly as possible. Yellow cons are better exp, but also generally more hp and slower to kill. Look for even con non-giants and crush it!
I got the boots recently and Just finished all the TDS progression so I could get the TDS explorer ach and Ran MQ2grind in GD for a few hours and lvled my boots to the silver boots.
