Will this PC have any problems with EQ1?
Anything I need to add to this machine? I am picking up parts 12/27/06.

I think there may be some issues with 64-bit windows and MQ2. Other than that it's way overkill as EQ1 is an old game and doesn't fully utilize modern hardware.

No problems with 64-bit windows and mq2 since 64-bit is backwards compatable with 32-bit.

Aye. The only problem EQ is having is with Dual Core processors. You have to turn one off when you play.

wineq2 solves the dual core issue, and EQ is still pretty hardware intensive depending on how many toons you need to run on one system hehe

I double checked and there were some people having problems with MQ2Auth and compiling MQ2 back during Vista beta. However it works fine now.
