Currently the Mastery of the Past AA is bugged for bards. It is supposed to stop any missed notes up to lvl 59, but if you get all the levels of AA it actually stops missed notes for every song up to lvl 70.

Why would you want to get this? Mainly because it lets you use melody without worrying about it stopping (other than getting stunned). This lets you AFK twist on raids legitamitely without the risks that MQ2Twist provides (and it works when MQ2 is down!).

With a low cha and dex you can miss an amazing number of notes. People start to wonder why you are restarting your twist for every missed note when you've been AFK for 15 minutes.

Melody is also easier to use. You just press one button to start it, and the same button to stop it.

If you are only planning to macro your bard and never raid MQ2Twist is fine. But if the AA's are pouring in anyways you might as well take advantage of this while you can.

My bard only has the first level of mastery of the past and still never misses a note.

all you need is the first level of MotP, anything more would be wasting your aa's

this is no matter what level you are, it works across the board
