How do you get necros in group to cast dot dps aura on mobs

If you mean (remote) sphere, they are not used in the default config. You would have to add it yourself via a custom config.

I was trying to figure out how and where to add that in the custom config after I created it in the gui. Could you explain that to me please?

Using your preferred editor (VSC works great, and I highly recommend the MQ defs for Lua), using another similar spell as an example if needed, add it to the ability sets, spell list, and make an entry in the rotation you prefer to use it in.

There is also a chopped up, heavily commented example class config in the Lua folder that breaks down some concepts if needed, but users generally don't need to refer to that for simple spell additions.
