Problem - Navigation and Plugin issue

Hello,

Problem 1. I ran EQNavigation, and it builds the mesh just fine. However, when I try to "Save Mesh", it does not save it. I've used the button and of course File/Save Mesh and CTRL+s. I've tried moving the Navmesh folder to different places, no luck.

Problem 2. I try to "load" the MQ2Nav plugin with "/plugin MQ2Nav" and I get "Plugin 'NQ2Nav could not be loaded".

I have re-installed twice... no luck.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks,
JojoB

hrm, I have no idea what would keep it from loading.

You're using a fresh compile you say?

EQNavigation isn't used for MQ2Nav, by the way, so there's no point in running that. To make a mesh, you use Meshgenerator.exe

I did use the meshgenerator. Wrote the wrong thing by accident. Still didn't enable the mq2nav to load. Loaded just fine in the Those guys version of MQ2 though, so I switched to that for now until I figure this out with Redguides MQ2.

I just tried on a fresh install (using installer/updater), can't replicate your issue. It loaded fine and the UI even popped up.

1) Did you copy the UIfiles to the everquest/uifiles/default folder during install? Sometimes people just copy to their Everquest folder, and not the uifiles/default

2) Could you paste your macroquest.ini?

In your Redguides compile Release folder do you have a MQ2Nav folder?

Yes, your ideas fixed it. Got it to work. Thanks. Main issue now is Tank (Ogre) is getting stuck on things. But that's an EQ problem mostly.

i cant get my /nav ui window to pop up on an account but works on the other 5 any ideas?

This was covered recently in... the plugins forum I believe. The solution is to unload, then reload the MQ2NAV plugin which will resolve the issue.

[Edit]

saar explained the issue you're experiencing in the MQ2NAV release thread HERE
