NA Official MQ2.2010.11.10.3 Compile - Updated 11/28/2010

Re: NA Official MQ2.2010.11.10 Compile - MQ2PiggyZone Fixed

This compile is still crashing both myself and my wifes account, especially in the lobby. I logged in, did /shownames 1 and then loaded the compile... it ran fine for a while until I targeted someone in the lobby. It immediately caused an exception in eqgame.exe and crashed. Logging back in and doing the same thing resulted in another CTD. The vanilla compile works flawlessly, albeit without warp and docrack but never the less, flawless.

Sorry about that.

There were errors in the MQ2 source from the last patch that are causing the crashes. Some structs were off in the eqdata.h file and its a little beyond my skill set to fix. The devs at MQ2 know about it but it is only really affecting active hacks like mq2piggyzone so they aren't planning any fixes until next patch.

There was a small patch someone posted in the VIP forums which is what I applied but it is what is. Something we kind of have to live with until the next patch. I will ask our guys to look at it again and make sure I patched correctly

MQ2 VIP post is here http://www.macroquest2.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=17068

The fix for EQData.h was finally posted by the MQ2 Devs. I updated the file and recompiled. The new FIXED compile has been uploaded.

MQ2Piggyzone working correctly and /shownames 3 no longer causes crashes. Enjoy.

Mq2piggyzone placing toons under the world at random places if you /fade. My fault had some weirdness in it. Use the one posted below.
