Main channel when zoomed is adding what I think is the raw item ID to item links - long hex string. When not zoomed, links are fine. Loot channel as well.

Also kinda weird are faction messages - Your faction standing with <a Faction="391">New Combine</a> has been adjusted by 1.

copy /paste from eq to elsewhere is really nice :)

yeah i am going to remove the zoom aspect soon. you should be able to click any console window and Ctrl+= to increase size of the font and crtl+- to decrease size. for that console.

Currently does not save as there is no way to set it directly atm. I'm glad we got this much at least =)
 
the Ctrl-/Ctrl= seems to work, although the first ctrl- I hit made it all disappear :) - ctrl= brought it back, guess I fell off the bottom. Smallest font is (so far) much easier to read than the eq chat windows, so that's good.
 
yeah it was one of the things i worked hard on to get added, and making links work without doing reverse lookups. =)

Thanks to Brainiac for those QoL additions.

This looks great i am on project laz and this is a nice addition , can you set it to a active window so all typing happens in that box sorry if i am missing the option someplace

not by default where you just hitting enter or / will start typing.
but you can use the "focus key" in the options drop down to set a key to use that will achieve similar.

I use right-ctrl. so hitting that button with MyChat visible on the screen will focus the cursor on the input field.

Perfect i set slash as the focus key thank you, I look forward to messing with it more
 
I've recently switched over to MyChat exclusively and have noticed I've needed to customize things a bit to get things like, text related to buying/selling from vendors and such to show. And I am seeing that I also don't see, say, when I hail an NPC, I don't see the NPC's responses in the Main tab either. Also things like achievements.

Is there something super obvious I'm missing to enable all that kind of functionality? I am trying to figure that out before I do a ton of customization. :)

let me toss you my current config from a driver toon.
i know tells get weird with tell windows enabled as they change the line.

just drop the file into your mq\config\myui\mychat\servername\ folder and rename it to that characters name you are using it on.

this one has everything enabled as well as enabled on the main tab. you will want to enable disable filters and such as you see fit.
but this should give you a decent base to build from.

Could be a nice option to load this template vs the pre-loaded one via 'Event Configuration' for those that want to take the route of disabling filters vs adding them. Thanks for sharing (a year ago).
