I decided to share my tribute farm. It requires a fair amount of setup and prep, but once you have some of the items pre-foraged/farmed and ready to go, you can farm over 2-2.5M plat in 4 hours of AFK if you find the script ready to activate.
What We're After:
The item we're looking to make is: Obsidianwood Compound Bow. I make the PoFire bows over the other variations from Earth, Water, and Air as farming the trees in Earth for bow staves is a miserable experience, fighting underwater is a miserable experience, and farming bow staves in Air from the big bee guys is also, you guessed it, a miserable experience. Any of these can be done AFK, but you also are opening yourself up to much longer farming times while AFK, and more chances of other people running into your bots and generating publicity for you.
The recipe for the bow is here. The bow must be created in a Planar Fletching Kit, the static fletching stands in PoK do not work.
Requirements:
Farming:
You'll be checking Plane of Fire for Guardian of Doomfire. He spawns at the tables, as you can see in the magelo window. There is a ~3.5 day lockout on his spawn after the script is started. Killing him begins the script for Fennin Ro, the Tyrant of Fire. You'll need to kill your way through the generic mobs + fiends until you get to the front of Fennin's Castle. At this point, there will be 4 named + a bunch of trash, and after you kill those, you will need to kill 4 named inside Fennin's castle. You DO NOT want to kill them INSIDE the castle as you don't want to aggro/kill Fennin when he spawns.
Once Fennin Ro himself has been spawned, there will be 10 elite gaurdian of ro that will spawn. There are 4 in Fennin's castle and at the doors, and then there are 6 that are placed at the narrow walkway leading to Fennin's castle. These were placed to try to prevent leapfrogging of guilds that had done the script by people trying to grief them. At level 65, these mobs were pretty serious business, and dealing with 6 of them was a tall order. This isn't the case any longer. You can set up and run KA right in the middle of the 6 elite guardians and let it kill until the script despawns, or you can run your toon during the farm process to pick up a few more kills on the elite guardians located in/by Fennin's castle.
The item you are after from the elite guardians is the Fiend Gut. This item was the bottleneck for the PoFire bows for a long time, as it only drops from the demon/fiend models, and there were ZERO normal, static mobs that have that model in PoFire. The other components drop like candy from mass-killing in Castle2 and the Tables. You can, however, pick some of them up during the script as well. The other items that are required are the Obsidianwood Bow Staff and the Brick of Molten Ore.
The other item you'll be spending some AFK time foraging is the Clockwork Grease. You can set up in Plane of Innovation, or almost any of the Gnome/Steamwork zones in SoF to forage this. I would recommend either PoI or Fortress Mechanotus.
Creating the Bows:
To convert these to the grease used in the cam recipe, you need to create Small Grease Jars via pottery, and combine the Jar + 2 grease in a toolbox or tinkering station. To create the cam components, you will need to combine the Brick of Molten Ore with a File and a Cam Parts Mold in any smithing container. Combining the resulting Molten Metal Gears and Molten Metal Bolts with a Jar of Clockwork Grease in a toolbox will create the Molten Metal Bow Cam.
To create the Fiend gut string, you just need to combine 2 fiend guts in a loom/planar sewing kit with a clump of wax. The clump can be purchased in PoK from the fletching vendors.
To create the bow, you finally combine the Fiend Gut String and 2 of the Molten Metal Bow Cams you just created with an Obsidianwood Bow Staff and a Planing Tool in a Planar Fletching Kit. If you're successful, you've just created a bow worth over 42k tribute. With any luck, you were able to farm ~120 of the Fiend Guts while farming the fennin script, which results in ~60 combine attempts for the bottleneck portion of the recipe. 60 combines has the potential for 2.5M tribute, though you're likely to see closer to 2-2.2M tribute after factoring in failures and such.

- ~150 Tailoring
- ~100 Smithing
- ~50 Pottery
- A forager
- An 85ish+ toon, though higher is definitely recommended for speed of farming
