Problem - MQ2Nav - Plugin loads but doesn't work with isboxer

Fairly new to MQ2, so it is possible I am doing this wrong!

I use isboxer for my gaming. MQ2Nav is in the MQ2 ini and appears to load fine. I have used MeshGenerator.exe to generate mesh files for the zones I am interested in. When I /nav <target> my character just starts running straight ahead and will run until I /nav stop. /nav ui does _not_ bring up the ui, but doesn't give me any errors. MQ2Nav reports that it has loaded the .bin mesh file for the zone.

Fired off a non-isboxer instance and things appeared to work - /nav ui brought up the ui (looks slick!), /nav <target> worked as expected etc.

Any thoughts?

Wineq handles memory management and proc usage a lot better. I am having a similar issue with wineq (mq2nav won't load). Actually now that I think about it. I haven't tried it without wineq.. Going to try that right now and get back.
***UPDATE***

I can't get it to load even without wineq running (full patcher load)

/plugin mq2nav yields "mq2nav could not be loaded"

In short, IsB and Mq2nav still dont play nice yet.

Off topic but why use isboxer when you're using mq2 ? I just dont see the reasoning.

Derail:
I see someone ask that at least once a month, fair question.
IsBoxer window management is top notch. I don't have resource isssues at 12-18 toons so guess I never found the need to try wineq. Also I like how ISB handles my characters allowing me to build custom sets and load/unload them with 1 click. QoL stuff I guess, not that there aren't other option to do the same things. I don't mind 5 bucks a month for what I get, its always patched immediately. If a free option came out Id try it but Lax has some serious depth to IsB that I cant find anywhere else with only 1 program.

I can't view that URL :(

I am able to get MQ2Nav to work in isboxer by first firing up my EQ instance, then loading MQ2. Starting additional clients after that is still borked, but its a start. I guess I look at wineq or just run my puller stand alone. Shame because like you I don't have a resource problem and isboxer brings so many things with it that I can't simply replace...

I was just wondering. You can use mq2fps to reduce cpu load and 7 taskbar tweaker lets you not group EQ icons.
Rich (BB code):
[MQ2FPS]
ForegroundMaxFPS=35
BackgroundMaxFPS=20
Mode=1
[Rendering]
FGRate=1
ReverseFGRate=0
BGRate=75
ReverseBGRate=0

This will limit FPS on active window to 35 and non active to 20 and non active windows will only render 1 in every 75 frames. Even with an avg PC this allows me to load 12 toons with zero lag.

Sorry dlists95 I wasn't paying attention when I searched it up, mod only. There's known issues with ISboxer and mq2nav

William
You ever run into /stick problems when the background is rendered so seldom? I had to bring mine up higher to void it.

Nope

Is there a fix or work around for this issue yet? I can't play without isboxer and really want mq2nav as well. Loading the game first is the only work around I have used, but it is a pain. Would love a fix for this issue.

Thanks,

Thanks,

No real work around yet. When I 12 box, I only load 11 through Isboxer, and my puller via regular EQNopatch since he's the only one who uses MQ2Nav. Isboxer can be running, just don't use it to launch the characters who use MQ2nav.
