Hi,

I have always wanted to use MQ2Casttimer. The functionality if it worked would be very appealing. However everytime I have seen someone ask about it, the response is always the same "if it doesn't work it doesn't work".

I am wondering is what about this plugin makes it not function properly? Is there a fundamental flaw in the design that makes people just walk away from it?

Is there anyone who uses it successfully that can tell me what I might need to do to get it working?

I can get to the point of having the plugin and UI loaded in game. Every time I cast a spell with a duration after that point I CTD. Spells with no duration seem to work fine.

This plugin took a nose dive with the release of HoT. The author stop playing EQ years ago and no one really stepped up to update it. I updated it in April for the item changes that came with that patch but that was an easy fix. Until someone with a little more expertise takes a crack at it. I follow all plugins on the MQ2 boards and this hasn't been touched in years except by me.

I think we should retire this plugin until someone else picks up development. It hasn't been stable since the last time Maskoi updated it on macroquest2.com. It's such a fussy little plugin. For example, the click effect on Stanos' Wicked Gauntlets is instant CTD.
