Hi ModBot users, has anyone tried using ModBot with MQ2Berzerker plugin? I was thinking I could turn DoMelee to false and let MQ2Berzerker handle combat however I am getting errors due to MQ2Berzerker unloading MQ2Melee and ModBot requires MQ2Melee.

MQ2Berzerker is 100% not compatible with MQ2Melee. They have similar purposes, and due to the amount of complaints caused by the plugin I've opted to disable it's use entirely while my plugin is active. Is there something that ModBot does that KissAssist or the built in functionality for MQ2BerZerker does handle?

Hey Chat, for my usage I am boxing a 4 group raid team. I need Modbot to handle the who the MA is and with Modbot I can issue a command to switch my MA. From reading up on MQ2BERZERKER it uses the group MA or the Raid MA. When raiding raid I could use raidmode to assist the raid MA but if I need to change raid MA I would need to go to my raid leader and click the button. I don't think there is a command to do that.

Currently I use KA and mq2berzerker (in manual mode) which is working great and when I can change MAs easily the zerk follows. However now I am making the move from KA to Modbot for raiding.

MQ2Berzerker handles multiple RA's. Set all 3 RA's at the start. the the primary RA first. If I recall correctly, if RA 3 is down, then RA 2 is their new assist target. and if RA 2 then goes down, RA 1 is their new assist target.

RA stuff was only testing in a very basic environment, and I was hoping to get more feedback on raiding so that I could look into making adjustments tailored to the raiders. However, nobody has really stepped up and gave me any information. I had a review at one point that suggested that raid options were lacking, but provided me no information on what exactly it was lacking so that I could attempt to make corrections despite my asking what I could do to make things easier on them.

If you have suggestions for the Raid assist logic, please do let me know what they are so I can attempt to handle it accordingly. I am not a raider, so I'm relying on feedback from the users to help guide me in the direction they'd like to see it go.

Why not simply use ModBot for the Zerker as well? If you are using it for your other toons, it should be easy for you to use it on the Zerker.

Thanks for pointing out Zerk handled multiple RAs. I will try that and commands to switch RA on the fly.

I have my zerk set up in modbot and he performs ok. I don't know the class well enough to really push their dps. Chats plugin fills that gap and improves quality of life by making it so I have one less ini to maintain each level.

I have used mq2berzerker to handle dps with KA and was hoping to do the same with ModBot.

Yes, ModBot requires you to maintain your ini's if you want to use new things as you level. However, much of the DPS work is handled by MQ2Melee, which will automatically do things for you as you level. The other things are not really that hard to update once you get yourself a working ini that you like.

A lot of it comes down to how much control you want over your toon. Personally, I like more control, which ModBot gives me.

For curiosity and testing is there any settings to have DPS handled by the plugin and not require mq2melee to be loaded? Or possible lines I can try editing to achieve this?
