[Solved] Problem was qBittorrent. Thought it was very low overhead but it must not play nice with mq2, but I can just turn off before playing and everything plays ok.

I'm boxing 36 characters on an emu server, it all runs nice and smooth until I run kiss or muleassist and then it becomes a slideshow. My kiss11 inis are setup thoroughly, but to troubleshoot I tried running muleassist with empty ini files and it still goes slideshow. Strange thing is that in Resource Monitor, RAM, CPU, i/o, network, usage is all quite low, yet the computer goes almost unresponsive.

Logging is turned off in EQ. Background fps tried 60 and 20, doesn't seem to make any difference. Install is mostly still just VV. This is plugins section:

INI:
mq2advpath=1
mq2autoaccept=1
mq2autologin=1
mq2cast=1
mq2chatwnd=1
mq2cpuload=0
mq2easyfind=0
mq2eqbc=1
mq2eqbugfix=1
mq2exchange=1
mq2fearrunner=0
mq2ic=1
mq2itemdisplay=1
mq2map=0
mq2melee=1
mq2moveutils=1
mq2nav=1
mq2netbots=0
mq2portalsetter=0
mq2rez=1
mq2targetinfo=0
mq2viewport=0
mq2xassist=0
mq2posse=1
MQ2DamageParser=0
MQ2Twist=1
mq2eqwire=1

Any ideas much appreciated!

Have you tried starting kiss/muleassist 1 group at a time instead of all 36?

Code:
MQ2eqwire=1
Turn that to 0, perhaps? Are you seeing the screen refresh limitations imposed by eqwire?

Tried all suggestions and no luck, thanks though. With even just one group running kiss, it goes really stuttery. 3 or 4 characters is ok but a group and it stutters. Whole raid and it basically locks up the computer, can barely even move the cursor.

With EQwire turned off it really slows everything down, even without any macro running. With EQwire on it speeds up again. I added everything to AV exclusion and it didn't seem to help. Great suggestion though.

WOOT SOLVED! So relieved because it was so laggy and now it is smooth as silk. I'm not sure exactly what fixed it but I will figure it out. I just closed some background things, AV, etc. So it will probably be one of those. I will update the thread once I narrow down which was the culprit. edit: It was bit torrent :/ That client has been rock solid and barely uses any resources but it must just not play well with mq2, easy to switch off before playing anyway.
