Hi, I've noticed that every time i launch MQ2 it now disappears from my system tray. It started doing this on my computer yesterday. Anyone know a fix?

Edit: now when I try to hover over it after starting the app it disappears. I tried to see whether it was my firewall/antivirus, but to no avail.

I've had it happen a few times, I solved it by forcing Windows to show MQ2 Icon at all times.

In your notification settings:

On Windows 7:
Right Click on the little UP Arrow/Triangle in the lower right -> Properties -> Customize Notification Icons -> MacroQuest and applications -> Show Icon and Notifications

On other Windows:

I tried this! unfortunately still doesn't work

I'm experiencing the same issue on Windows 10. Bumping this thread in case anyone has found a solution.

**I found the solution**

While updating Kissassist.ini files for characters, I accidentally changed the ini files in the Release folder causing this behavior.

Hope this helps others that experience similar issues.
