EDITED FOR SAFETY INFO

It is very dangerous to use "/getmission" style plugins. NEVER use this with a toon you care about and ALWAYS be close enough to mission giver to hail them. As a little bit of added protection I /say "trigger message" (Invis/OOR) then get a little closer and /getmission. On the off chance they are just reviewing your chat logs this might help...


I can not promise this list is complete or 100% accurate but it does have the most ID's of any list I have found. I compiled it from every list on every server I could find. When differences were found I would go with the majority... Please post any errors you find and I will try to keep this list up to date.

Please take your hostility out somewhere else. If you have some specific, useful information about this then please post it...

I would not recommend these being used AFK or to be used on your main account(s). But I have gotten many missions with garbage accounts then dropped out of the mission. I have been told by several people that have always been both helpful and cautious that using it sporadically it is unlikely to throw up a flag. On the off chance that it did, only the toon that got the mission is likely to get banned/suspended. I have been doing it this way for many months and none of my accounts have been banned. I hope that anyone that has direct information (not a friend of my cousin said maybe...) that this is "You will get BANNED the first and everytime time you use this" dangerous would please post that info.

I used it last month to get my newest gk monk his lvl 70 aura and he got banned 2 days later. I didnt even get a chance to gk with this monk yet. Was a trash account so no big deal but this was the only thing I had done with this account. I have 12 more accounts and only farm 300 hp/mana plus gear (at least 4 drops a day for 3 months now). None of the other accounts were bothered even though the account info is identical on all of them, and they all afk xp, ghostkill, piggyzone, allzone, warp ect thousands of times a day every day.

I am probably the biggest ghostkiller/plat seller/gear seller/powerleveler on my server and never lost a single account except using mq2mission. Could have been a fluke but I am not using it anymore.

Oops, forgot to mention I do agree that the mission getter was the only person that got banned, the rest of the group was ignored, not even warnings.

Someone also told me they believe that the detection might have something to do with if you are close to the actual mission giver. Did you go to the mission giver, then use /getmission?

Second one was standing in zone of mission giver.

All three times sony responded with "using macroquest to exploit the task system" and "self assign of tasks".

All three times there was a full group and only the person using Mission got the ban stick.

Next time don't bother getting your new monk his aura, only one aura needed, it affects the whole group.

I typically ghostkill several mobs at once in different zones, my monks are ussually not grouped. I got the mission with the version that just uses the mission number, and was in the same zone as the giver but not near them.

Yea, it sends a very fake Mission Get packet providing only those two DWORDs MissionID and NPCSpawnID making it easy for Sony to see you're doing something bad.

Haven't had any problems with using a mission style plugin, if you use it correctly. The current public version does not work.
