Problem - Mimic Me and Kissassist

I am a VERY basic user for MQ2 and mostly use Kissassist except I have been dabbling with Mq2Rogue, Mq2Bst and Mq2Zerker. I have been "trying" to kill Griklor but fail miserably and I know I have the group for it. My question is this. I dont know how or have ever used EQBC so i was watching some videos. I want to know if having mimic me clicked would have my characters switch target to stay on griklor or kill adds? If i dont burn fast enough and he flies again, the problem I am having is my dps chases Griklor around in the air and wont assist on adds. I wish someone lived close to show me how to use eqbc because apparently its amazing for 6 boxing. I am just trying to get my group to switch targets that my MA is targeting and stop chasing Griklor all around.

I would 100% recommend getting EQBC setup. It is shockingly simple to use, run it, just use the default IP if you want and have each toon do "/bccmd connect" to connect.

Once you are up on EQBC you can setup a hotbutton to get them off of Griklor when he flies back up, there are many ways it can be done but what I have is:

/bct MeleeToon /mqp on
/bct MeleeToon /keypress esc
/bct MeleeToon /assist Tank
/bct MeleeToon /mqp off

Also, there is a thread somewhere on here that talks about Griklor but a solid strategy is to setup your crew on the log then start the task when Griklor is circled opposite the log. From there on out his emote to will happen right over the top of the log and you will almost never have to move a toon.

the mimic me stuff is for hailing and such.

you're going to want to have all your dudes clear or change their target - like a /bcg //target clear

I explain how to do this fight in my griklor 1.0 video (2.0 is a 1 drop meme, so don't even need to switch here) --- the cwtn stuff you can just turn switchwithma on for those characters - for the kiss toons you will want them to clear their target or acquire a new target (my bard is running kiss12 in this video)

Thanks guys. I just wish I wasn’t such a numpty when it comes to new stuff. I’ll try some baby steps with eqbc. I don’t know how you guys know all these commands.

so from what I understand. It doesn’t matter what macro I’m running if I use /bcg //target clear it will clear all targets on all toons? Sorry for the basic question.

What about a group using IHC? Would it have issues changing targets? Been meaning to try that fight.. I use MQ2 War for the war and IHC for the Cleric, Enchanter, Mage, Mage, Ranger.

Trust me when I say it seems intimidating but you will be very surprised by just how easy it is. Startup EQBC with the default settings and then when it is running just go on your toon in the game and type "/bccmd connect" and he will be on the server. When all your toons are on the server together you can send any/all commands that you desire. You will want to make hotkeys for the ones you use alot of special ones for mission but the bare basics are:

/bct ToonName //say Hello (this will command only that one Toon to /say Hello)
/bcg //say Hello (this will have your entire group /say Hello)
/bcaa //say Hello (this will have ALL toons on the server /say Hello)

In place of //say Hello you can use any command you need them to perform, for example lets say your toon is named Bob, you could do:

/bct Bob //cast Levitate
/bct Bob //mac afcleric
/bct Bob //tar Mob
/bct Bob //nav wp camp

You can make your group or toons do anything you need from one computer. So for me, when doing quests or missions Im usually running things from the MT and have him giving the needed commands.
