I was wondering if it would be possible to have stuck people turn in other directions until unstuck or something. I assume many have fixed their own mesh for places where you always stick but I don't even want to try that, Is there a place where People share their fixed versions of thse zones?

By and large the meshes kept up on the repository are updated and built upon.

One of the recent challenges going back and continuing a lot of the work myself and many others have done, is not being able to render the mesh in-game makes it much harder to edit/fix/adjust.

Hopefully when we see that functionality come back we'll see more real curated meshes.

Unfortunately with the nature of updates and open repositories, and that you can't view to compare differences in existing mesh ton"updates" mesh, it means I've had meshes that I had previously spent hours and hours on working every corner and rock and flower pot to get overwritten sometime down the line by someone who didn't ensure they were building on top of the existing mesh.

You'd be better off mentioning a zone and loc on discord and seeing if someone would take a peak

Well thanks you, I am getting ore in some old zones and I am sticking pretty much everywhere!
I am totally amazed that People have been able to creat these meshes in the first place and even have them for these evry old zones.
I was thinking if there were a unstick auto it would be great to! :D Off course! lazy Me!
 
when ever i run into a bad spot in a mesh i always go here and reget the mesh https://mqmesh.com/ if it still doesnt work then i fix it myself or try to atleast. I know you said you dont want to do it yourself but its very easy to fix any mistakes you make by just copy pasting the mesh from that link back into your folder. this is the guide that got me started. Im not like the best at it but i think im decently passible at it that i can get what i want to happen most of the time. its probably not efficient how i do it sometimes though

Sic is right though not being able to see the mesh in game has made fixing stuff alot more time consuming especially in zones where the mesh is laggy. i also always test my changes in the zone instead of using the testing tool because its wrong often enough to be annoying. I also miss the nav lines whe naving.
 
Speaking of mesh, doing it for the Arc island is a pain in the butt. My guys keep getting stuck on the top lip when swimming up. Anyone found a solution around this?

Meshes are 2D, not 3D. It has no concept of swimming/flying/levitating etc.

If there is a lip you're stuck on where the mesh thinks that there is a path, do a /loc - then go into the mesh generator and punch that location into the location portion in the top left once you've opened that zones file.

Then, you modify the mesh accordingly to avoid that lip. I'm not entirely sure what spot you're talking about to have a reference on where the lip is.
 
This is one of the waterfall segments that you have to swim up or down to get to the next island in Arcstone. When swimming up, the toons will get caught on the ledge circled in red.

I can't believe they implemented this considering how crappy the swimming mechanic is in EQ.
