So I have my Melee group, I play the warrior, have a shaman, zerker, bard, BL, and a random merc. I spent hours trying to mess around with the stick commands in the melee ini, and the standard ini. I for the life of me can't get my guys to just melee the mob, face it, and not do random glitch turns during the combat, trying to spin in circles. I attempted fixes I had seen under other related posts on the forum, with no luck so far. Anybody give me a hand on this?

this will often happen if you keep afollow on while in combat - you shouldn't do that

this can also happen if you have your background characters in their everquest alt-o settings set to "Max background fps" to minimum - you shouldn't do that either, 30 or 60 is fine.

I have had that happen to me before. Have way overpowered comp for what I do. All backround settings set to max..tried all the other things Sic and everyone had suggested over the last few months. Got to where I turned stick off on the plugins and everything. I finally went to next and for some reason it went away. Never did figure out what was doing it. My theory was something in the 12 core cpu not properly working on backround instances because the minute I clicked over to the other toons screen it would quit spinning and get behind mob(rogue). I tried it with eqwire..without eqwire...with cpu balancing plugin...without...all settings to max backround and foreground. Hope you figure it out ...I am glad mine is back to proper form now.

So the follow me tool in group window is normally what I use. So that may be causing it? Bummer because I like having the roaming band of melee haha.

Yeah mine is all set to 30 for background. I'll try turning it up. On a 32g ddr4 OC 10900k with a 3090...game certainly isn't stressing it out LOL.

That is one area chase mode in the cwtn/sic plugins shine for roaming around. Otherwise set a camp or turn off follow me during combat. It is only one button to press.

CWTN, KA and RGmercs (and assuming MA) all support a chase mode. if your moving about, thats 99% better then /afollow (that seems to stick on sometimes). only time ive found /afollow to be worth it, is going across a bad mesh.

Moving from static camp A to static camp B: use /afollow to run between camps and then /afollow off once you arrive
Roving around a zone or area as a mobile group and fighting mobs as you encounter them: use your given automation's chase mode.
