Question - Melee distance

Just started out with the RGMercs Lua. So far not too hard to get up and running. But I am noticing a tendency for my toons to try and back up to reach an optimal melee distance, which causes them to duck or get stuck.

Is there a way to control the distance or way they face mobs, so they aren't always trying to move behind it and back up? I tried turning of Moveback in the Tanking tab, but that didn't do it.

There is a field under combat I think called stick. You should be able to do the search for it. I use loose 10, for areas where I need my bard to stay close.

Stick is part of MQ2MoveUtils and that field has RGL send commands to the plugin.

Heh, I actually read some from the link I posted. Looks like loose is part of /moveto but the 10 should work, as I saw the bard up close.

EDIT 2: Sorry, I added another link to a better line, loose is part of /stick. It makes turning gradual, instead of instant. Knew I had a reason for it.

Thank you! That seemed to help out a lot!

I use "75% loose uw" for all of my toons unless fighting dragons/riposters/they specifically need to be behind (I have a couple hotkeys to change stickhow)

I also turn off auto duck in the EQ settings (but keep auto stand on)
