Version of KissAssist.mac?
12.002
When did your problem start?
Always
Character Role?
  1. Assist
What class is having this issue?
  1. Rogue
How often does this issue occur?
Always
  1. I want my BER and ROG to stop attacking when they gain aggro and I can't figure it out. I thought it would be simple like Aggro1=*stop attacking or whatever*|95|>
  2. I want my ROG to drop out of combat, Hide, pickpocket, backstab, and re-enter combat. I don't think this is possible with Kiss but figured I would ask since I'm here.

If this isn't possible with KissAssisst what should I be learning to make it possible?

If I am to understand correctly, you want your BER and ROG to stop auto attack when they get aggro where the mob turns on them? And then do other things until they lose aggro and then re-engage?

I fear what responses you are going to get from others is, have a better tank to keep aggro off your DPS and adjust DPS settings in a way that doesn't let them get aggro easily out of the gate. I imagine that coding this is possible, but I don't think KISS does it. I do not use KISS very much myself. I use RGMercs more. So hopefully someone with more KISS experience can comment further.

Thank you! I thought that might be the case. I will take a look into RGMercs.

hate to ask a question as a reply to your question but what tank/automation are you using for a tank and are they similarly geared /lvled?
I'm just using Kissassist, all my chars are the same level just 30 ATM and geared with Hero's armor Pretty much "Defiant". I know it's nothing to worry about right now I just was wondering.
I did apply Aggro1=Divertive Strike|95|> to my BER That seems to work fairly well.
For the Rogue it's not grabbing Aggro I just want it to drop out of combat and do Pickpocket really and maybe a sneak attack but still not needed just thought it would be nice.
I think I might just make a Macro in game that does it with dannet while I am learning all the stuff in Redguides.

what is your group looking like? 3? 6?
Do you have a tank?
lvls?
Have you looked at the kissassist info (www.kissassist.com)

From what I understand, turning off auto attack and hitting hide on a rogue (even though he is in combat) is essentially a deagro component and can reduce his hate slightly. I believe it's called 'evade'. Almost like reverse taunt.

As for tuning this into kiss. I assume it relates to conditions? Perhaps in the combat section maybe?

As toons get higher level with aa's, everyone gets a combat drop ability (like bard fade, just longer cooldown). I use that ability on my rogue when he gets combat. Apologies that I don't gave the specific ini code for evade.

6 Man group - SHD,SHM,BRD,BST,ROG,BER-, Level 30 ATM, pretty much Defiant gear.
I use only Kissassist ATM just trying to not confuse myself too much right now.
I haven't found anything in Kissassist Where I can turn off autoattack and back on. Just making sure I am not missing something simple because I tend to do that at times.

Yeah, That's the only way I can see using it in Kiss is if it has an ability. I just can't figure out how to /attackoff in kiss or even if this is possible. I thought it would be simple but I am at a loss.

have you looked for inspiration here? Do you have a good SK ini?
maybe set the rogue to assist att a lower hp pct?

or just try RGmercs and dont worry about INI anyway :p

Yeah, RGMercs is on my to do list.
Also, that is a great solution to aggro! I will definitely implement that into my ini.

You can also use the Aggro section to tell your character(s) to do things to help loose aggro.

[Aggro] Settings[edit]

[Aggro]
SettingsDefaultValues/ModsWhat this setting does
AggroOn00/10=Off/1=On - Toggles aggro boosting or lowering mechanics settings.
AggroSize5?#Number of Aggro# entries to parse. Similar to DPSSize.
Aggro1-5NullAA/Disc/Item/Spell|% aggro|>/</<<|TargetFlag|CondAggro1=WhatToDo|PctAggroToDoIt|<,<<,>|TargetFlag|Cond

AA/Disc/Item/Spell|% aggro|<,>,<< less than/greater than/double less than| Me/MA/Pet/Mob(Default) cast on Target.
use < to increase or maintain aggro
use > to decrease or avoid aggro
use << to check secondary aggro
Targetflag defaults to the targeted mob if left empty, or null. You may also use targetflag INC for incoming mobs, those further away than MeleeDistance. Targetflag Me, MA, and Pet are also accepted.
Aggro also evaluates Conditions.
Examples (Gain Aggro):
Aggro1=Taunt|100|<
Aggro2=Terror of Kra`Du|100|<

Examples (Drop Aggro):
Aggro1=Sanctuary|80|>
Aggro2=Divine Peace|95|>

Examples (Secondary Aggro):
Aggro1=MobsHateThis|50|<<

This will use MobsHateThis if targets secondary aggro gets above 50
If TargetFlag is not provided it is defaulted to Mob.
