Question - Making macroquest.ini read only ok?

Hi all. I'd like to not load mq2melee and posse but they keep coming back after I remove them. I wonder if it would be ok to make macroquest.ini read only or could that cause problems? Or would it be better to delete the dlls?

Even that would not prevent a macro for loading it, you will need to find out why it is getting loaded.

e.g kissassist loads it if usemq2melee=1

Ok thank you, I'll look into it. I have mq2melee=0 on all my inis but it seems like if I do /end it will load mq2melee. Strange. I'll figure it out

Yeah you may need to mod KA's code. It will load posse, I think that's for AFKTools so maybe you could disable that in the ini.

Otherwise you can search the code for posse/mq2melee and cut those lines.
