Problem - mage is freezing up on screen

4 toons in group. All except wiz on kissassist to my ranger tank. 2x maybe 3 now in the past few days ive noticed the mage screen is frozen and task manager says its not responding. Since the vanilla update. I will try again today to see if it happens again. I have changed nothing on his ini. Any ideas? Mage bug?

Could be related to issues they were having with major revamp of MQ2.

I know recent changes on test is causing EQMule fits. Things might be in flux for awhile, I have not run the updater since the last server patch so hanging tight until everything appears calm again. Of course, I have that option, all my stuff is working as is...

I have this issue on one of my laptops sometimes. It is usually my puller/tank/ma/groupleader/lootleader (but not always). I think it's partly due to a heat issue and a low ram issue (only 6gigs). If I turn down/off all graphics, and run a fan directly on vents I can go for days without it. Turn up graphics, lose fan...it will lock up e very hour or so...and get worse as time goes on (locking up 2-5 toons at a time).

Check you temps and memory to see if they might be an asset issue.

You need to check all your clicky items. I have seen where people put there neck item in the buffs section and there is no spell item, this in the past has caused me more headaches trying to figure out. Make sure all your buffs that are items, actually are clickable for buffing.

I do not know if this is related, but my mages have been getting stuck recently using KA because they have their inventory and hand filled with pet toy packs. They recast it constantly and are unable to cast anything else after they are filled up. I had to turn pet toys off in the KA ini.

We added some additional checks for things being on your cursor before casting, but I don't see where this is interfering with pet toys. I will have to pull out my mage later and give this a try and see if I can trace this down..
