Re: KissAssist ini files

Thanks, that's what I'm after. Just the baseline to get it up and running and build from. Once I get a running set I'm usually pretty good to go to whatever extent I want -- just getting it up and running is typically the hardest part.

Do I actually not need a general section at all?

Re: KissAssist ini files

Yes, the macro needs all of it sections but General pretty much sets it self to the most used functions so you really won't need to do much at low levels.

Oh -- I think I see where I really went wrong now. I thought I had to create the INIs from scratch before I even fired it up. It creates the base templates for me when I load it on a new char?

Re: KissAssist ini files

Yeah it creates them for you, with each section for dps, aoe, pulling, etc. Disregard the sections your class doesn't use. You can also get fancy and put things in the AOE section, for say, cleric, so say when you get 3 mobs, it'll cast X spell.

On my SK when I get 3+ mobs in camp, even though I have a bard mez for 2 of the mobs, I still have my SK AOE jolt them for aggro. On my monk, I put all my clickie things, like breastplate at 80 in the AOE section as well, so it's kinda like an automated burn area.

If you're starting all from scratch, as I just did that too, you'll find most of the spells in the 95-100 ini templates wont even be available until 80+. At least 3 of the cleric abilities are AAs, and one (the promise line), you don't get until 70+

I kinda reversed the ini files listed by just googling each ability if I didn't know what it was, and finding a similar version. The cleric one was actually one of the easiest to reverse, because things like "light, remedy, word of, and elixir" are all used at low levels as well. I think of all the heals at least, only 3? are not available at lower levels. 2 are AA, 1 is available after 70.

The SK one I looked at (the one posted a few posts back) was even harder to use in reverse, as I think 3 of the abilities aren't even available until 95+, or at least not to a level 88 sk.
