Question - LUA

So I noticed a dir called Lua? I am not computer lingo savy but other than it be the Hawaiian word for water what is a Lua? Not trying to be stupid just want an honest answer as to what it is

Lua is a "Real" scripting language that can now be used with mq2lua plugin to use .Lua scripts.

think of the macroquest scripting language as a "home brew language" and Lua as a "real professional language"

Hawaiian word for water is “wai” or “kai” depending on the type. While Lua is a Hawaiian suffix, the origin in this case is Portuguese for “moon.”
