looking for Council of the 9 strat (1 Viewer)

Pull avatar, take to 90%. Add auto pulls, Kill add. Take avatar to 80%. Next add auto pulls, Kill add. Take avatar to 70%. Next add auto pulls, Kill add. ... Rinse/Repeat down to 0%.

Things to note

AVATAR
1. The Avatar flurries and rampages
2. He's strongest when you start and grows weaker as you kill council members off
3. The Warrior has to use evasive the Zones curse of blood wont let him use defensive

The Council
1. you get 1 every 10% starting at 90%
2. The have an AE you dont want on the raid
Will of the Council
1: Decrease Attack Speed by 95%
2: Silence
3: Decrease Movement by 50%
4: Increase Curse Counter by 99
Duration: 3.0 mins @L1 to 5.0 mins @L2
Recast Time: 60
Resist: Magic (-350)
AE Radius: 100

Setup
MT 5 clerics should be fine for avatar

RT 3 patch healers should be plenty Ideally a DA hammer paladin fills the spot

MA a solid tank with nonspell aggro ability plus full heal crew

People will need to cure the MT RT and MA from the AE

What to do
Move your raid to the right as you zone in. Move healers to the wall across from the doorway in the broken wall. The MT will engage the AVATAR on your side of this doorway and hold him there. Put all your melee dps on this mob to start and pull them all off at 2% til council spawn (92% 82% etc). Park the MA in the doorway behind the AVATAR and let RT MT and range dps bring mob down to 90%. The MA should be able to grab aggro in doorway then pull the mob to the pillar of rock to the right of doorway. He tanks it there with all melee and range dps burning down the councilman. Then everyone moves back to the AVATAR.

Doing it this way will keep the AE off your healers at all times and makes the event fairly easy. Best I can do not really a tactics guy but I hope at least this gets you the idea of it.

The council members that add every 10% always add on the last person to enter the zone. So...if you have a tank zone out when 1 council member dies, then zone back in and run to the corner you are pinning him; the council member should jump right to him.

Also, you can now have 42 people in this raid, instead of just 36 as it used to be.

Hope that helps. Using the "zone trick" to control the pull of the avatar's is very helpful; as they will rape your healers if you don't get a lock on them asap.
