Problem - Long list of troubles!

ok i have been using this for i think a couple years now. everything was good, then i started with CWTN for my characters and i love it. BUT big changes
1. redguides launcher stopped loading for me. It would ask if it could access computer, click yes, and it would disappear, never launch. I got redfetch and everything was back. but it still wont launch but i kinda like redfetch
2. Then one day my group wouldn't follow, it would come to me. but very very slowly, if i switched to another character it would speed up and pass all the others. if i switched through them all the group would catch up. Then today nothing works no follow, no come to me, but mimic still works.

I need solutions because this isnt fun anymore and I want to get motivated to play again. i had to step away a few days. Talk to me like I'm 5 too lol, I don't know the system well, plug and play was my level

oh i did do the /bccmd connect and got connected to server message. My pc runs on the wifi from my modem

been surfing the forums and found a few fixes. reguides launcher now working, followed Sic video on where to do settings and that is all correct, hit follow and get a no nav mesh message, try to run the navmesh updater and it wont work, is unresponsive

I followed this old thread that Sic walked a guy through, followed exactly and get a message "Cannot navigate- no mesh file loaded"

could try and manually download the meshes from here

nav loaded, connected to server, no nav files found

depending on the zone, there might not be a mesh for it, if you are like on an emu with old or custom zones, or some weird zone no one has to been to in 1104years on live or test

Please try and use multi quote / reply. You don't need a new post for each half sentence that comes to mind.

In the future it is better to post resource specific questions in their respective places - as a new person it can be challenging to know where that is, but familiarize yourself and it gets easier.

Each resource on RG has an Overview / Discussion Thread and either a link to their wiki or tabs with FAQ, Commands, Etc.
Please make sure to post in the respective discussion thread, and check the FAQ/Commands/Wiki for information before posting.

2. You need to go back to the basics.

Make sure you get framelimiter setup. Without it,n your background toons are going to perform like shit

"Come to me" defaults to dannet not eqbc so make sure that is working (check the dannet FAQ tab), and you need nav meshes as has already been mentioned

in reposne to your Question 2, ive had this same issue. i find it that once you load the CWTN plugin and click the stab from output to settings this wroked for me. idk why this is but when the plugin is loaded it goes to the output tab, all i did was switched it to settings and then they react as normal. Ive brought this issue up before but somehow it cant be replicated. but you can try doing that.

so when i load up my toons and enable the plugin i always ensure the plugin tab is at settings. im not saying this is a fix, im just saying thats what i do

Sorry about all that. So, i did the framelimiter, i downloaded all the meshes to the folder you recommended on the other post and showing no nav mesh found so not sure where i went wrong there

well - no mesh found means it doesn't have a mesh.

so i would ensure that if you manually placed the files they are where you think they are, and if you let the meshupdater place them, that you're running mq off the directory that was updated

MQMesh or run the meshupdater from the RG Launcher / RedFetch
If you download them manually, ensure you're placing them in the correct place these go in your MQ->Resources->MQ2Nav folder they do NOT go in MQ->MQ2Nav folder

It's worth mentioning if you ran the mesh updater while you were in game, the current zone mesh may not load. You'll need to try /nav reload
That would prompt it to look for a mesh for the current zone.
If that doesn't work. Which zone you are in may be relevant, but I'm fairly positive we have meshes for every zone. So shouldn't be an issue with a mesh for a zone not being available.

got it and everything is placed. i basically unloaded Everything and redownloaded and then used your setting. The issue is fixed and I'm not sure where it fixed it. but now as long as I set my tank and lead the group with that character its sped up and keepin up. Thanks for the help!
