Bug - KissAssist - Known Issues from Latest Expansion Patch.

Known issues due to patch on 01-23-2015.

1) PetToys in KissAssist 8.x release.

Issue: Due to the change in pet toys and items given to pets introduced in last patch, the giving of PetToys in KissAssist is broken. A fix is already being worked on.
Recommendation at this time: Wait for the fix, KissAssist 8.0.3 version and higher.

Known issues due to patch on 10-28-2014 for The Darkened Sea expansion release.

1) Mounts:
Issue: If you are using the new "Mount Keys" feature in EverQuest, and maintain a mount via KissAssist Buffs section, mounts will not be summoned.
Investigation: The "Mount Keys" function removes the actual item from your inventory and stores it seperately in some new method. Therefore KissAssist is unable to locate the actual item to clicky cast your mount.
Recommendation at this time: Do not use "Mount Keys" function to maintain the mount you wish to summon using KissAssist (or Mq2Melee for that matter if you maintain buffs via downshits).

UPDATE: This item has been resolved thanks to eqmule, compile now sees mount slots as valid inventory slots to check for items.

2) IMPORTANT:
NOTE: If you have The Darkened Sea expansion, and have purchased any FOCUS aa for a spell line, you MUST upgrade to newest:

KissAssist.mac v7.6.7 and
MQ2Cast_Spell_Routines.inc v3.03

UPDATE: Both these files are included in the Vanilla Release compile zip.

3) BUG INFO SUBMITTED TO SOE:
Confirmed BUG in game. Druid class can NOT activate "Communion of the Cheetah" via in game alt activate method by name. I purchased the aa "Communion of the Cheetah", went to activate it with /alt activate "Communion of the Cheetah" ... error returned back in game "You don't have that ability". HOWEVER, if i activate the aa number /alt activate "939" it works fine. This has been confirmed by other druids.

Lets see what happens.... don't hold your breath though.

I have 9 mounts on my main (yeah yeah, don't judge me) and I put all but the one I use on there and it works perfectly, I have free bag space for 8 more items and everything else still works... you can add or subtract mounts from the keyring as desired so it works just like another bag....

After updating to the correct version of MQ2 I started getting this message today which ends kissassist:

The current macro has ended.

If I set PetOn=0 it doesn't happen. This is occuring on both my Enchanter and Mage. Before today they were working okay so not sure what is wrong / I did wrong.

Thats was an error from the first compile today. I uploaded a new compile with the fix a few minutes later.

I can make /useitem search through the keyring as well if it doesn't already... You shouldn't have to worry where it's at bag or keyring...

There are a ton of tiny little changes and bugs that have creeped up due to functionality changes within the eqgame itself... this is making it difficult for us atm.. but we ARE addressing and investigating each issue as it becomes available/reported.

Since I am the only one atm with new expansion, testing kissassist, and making changes as needed... its a little slow.

I'm only one person and I do have a life outside of EQ/MQ2 .. lol

Having a problem with MQ2Navigation pulling in Errilion. My toon will path to where she needs to pull without a hitch but once she pulls (pullerpettank), she will not path back she will beeline straight for the camp.

This post is a late reply to the above. the aforementioned problem only happens with pullerpettank. it works fine if in straight puller mode. I have a quick question. I cannot get my mage to use the Elemental Form: Water aa buff. Any thoughts on this one?

P.S. I got it to work if I put it higher in the list - it wouldn't work in buff slot 22

Are you mounted? Buff works for me in KA using:

Buffs8=Elemental Form: Water

What error are you getting?

From what I am taking from his comment.. he might have been buff locked/blocked at 22 buffs... Either not having purchased the aa's or done the progression things that expand the total max available buff slots.. ( like one of the keepers or dark reign gifts from Dragons of Norrath expansion that expands buff slots).

If i am off base with that assumption.. would like to know.

Also.. hope he does not already have an illusion form on when attempting/failing to cast that. If you have an illusion on already.. you can't cast that spell if the illusion portion of the spell is blocked.

Same thing I experince in this locked thread-

You can easily block the illusion and still cast, and theres no stacking issues with mounts or mounts blessings, I could have mine use water, but not the earth one for instance.

From what I can tell the issue is KA or MQ2cast, I could also not get it working with mq2melee, but click the aa would work everytime no problem.....

Not sure if this is intended but im using tell windows not sure if this is kiss assist or mq2 in general issue i noticed screen flashes on tells and beep on tells when i box but i can be pulling on bard get a tell and my movement stops with every tell i get i have to tap jam on forward to get movement going very bad on pulls please advise if i need to shut off a feature or if this is a bug

This is something added to the basic macroquest.

You can set the timestamp, beepontells and flashontells on/off by adding the following commands to your MacroQuest.ini file.
The commands are 0=off and 1=on in the section of the file called [MacroQuest]
