So guys i'd like to say in advance thank you to everyone who is able to assist in this thread. Im to the point where i have 4 accounts 110 sk 110 mage 110 bst and a 100 mnk or 105 necro. I have never used kiss assist and need all of the asssitance i can get what do i need to do to make sure the team is ready to start killing my thought for set up is going to Frontier mountains and killing in a camp. Is there a way to set a radius or pulls. i use pocketfarm and i know some times the running from mob to mob brings like 100 which seems dangerous in a higher lvl zone. im guessing the sk would pull kiss would send in bst and mage pet then maybe start dps at 70-80 sit at conclusion to med and send sk out again. im not super great at in game commands on running programs, so as simplied as it could be would be amazing.

@andrewsmith60 Well that's one thing great about kiss, is you can start simple and then build on that. The best thing to do is to start kiss on all toons and then go in and setup your ini files. There are a lot of people that will tell you to go and download someone else's, but as a new user I would suggest against that. One of the biggest troubles I have to deal with when supporting is new users using other peoples ini's, and the user not knowing anything about what they are using. You will have a learning curve doing it yourself, but what you will end up with is a much better understanding of kiss. Just take what you are doing now with each character and set it up in the ini and let kiss do it.

Start with the basics at first and go from there. Best of luck and here is where to get started: Where to get started.

Totally agree here.

I would recommend DL and LOOKING at what others have done. but build your own. 1) you will learn alot more about your class's. 2)you wil have the satisfaction of knowing YOU built it. 3) ASK questions. tons here dont mind answering them

I used KA when I first started boxing. Still use it on my bard. But if you dont mind spending 20 dollars per The CWTN plugins are way easier to use and work fantastic. Look them up!

Totally agree, i use all CWTN plugins. and learned KA for my toons that he hasnt done a plugin for yet (still praying he does a Paly and Bard soon as those are 2 of my fav toons)

Some good general tips in here. I would suggest a hybrid approach to creating you INI files. First, I would create the default file per the getting started section (and read the section). Then, I would go find a couple of INI files for your class from the database and open them up in your editor side-by-side with your INI. Read and compare the INI's section by section (buffs, DPS, etc). Understand each line and determine what it does and whether it fits your playstyle before copying it to your own INI. Why? Because the syntax and formatting is sometimes confusing to a new user, and many simple and frustrating errors can be avoided by copying already working entries (especially in conditionals).

I would also suggest that you take the conditions approach to DPS and burns (i.e. Target.Named && BurnAllNamed) rather than using the burn section. Results in a much more flexible approach to controlling burn actions.

As for pulling, etc. With KA your toons are basically either going to be 'Assist', 'Tank' or 'Puller'. The simplest setup is to have one char (SK I would think) as 'PullerTank' and the rest assisting this character (yes, you can have a separate puller and tank, but I never found the need unless you want to chain pull). You set the parameters (camp radius, pull radius, etc) in the INI file for each character (in the General and Pull sections). These can be changed on the fly as well.

Note that moving your characters around and setting up camp is done via commands like /camphere on and /chase on and is as important to master as the INI file. I forget the syntax of most of these since they are hotkeyed, but you can't go wrong looking up Sic's hotkeys for some general commands (CWTN oriented, but includes KISS commands).

I started off using other peoples ini and tweaking them (sic I love the war ini). Once you get semi comfortable with the way KA works, you will change stuff to your liking and the ini you took from someone else will eventually be molded into your own ini. Conditions are fun to mess around with and try to learn as I am still learning, but if it works, it works. Right now I not running KA on multiple toons as I am using the cwtn (zerk,war,clr) plugins because for some fights I find it easier to tell them what to do and not do, but I am glad I used KA for all toons for over a year to learn the guts.

For KA puller tank settings under [General]:
[General]
Role=PullerTank
CampRadius=5
CampRadiusExceed=800
ReturnToCamp=1

and under [Pull]:
[Pull]
PullWith=Velium Enhanced Longbow|Ethereal Arrow (can be a spell or agro ability)
PullMeleeStick=0
MaxRadius=800 (how big a circle radius you want, you will see it on the map in blue ring)
MaxZRange=300 ( if you have mountains around, this is the how high to pull; depth setting)

As Vandersl mentioned /camphere for each toon at camp or make sure all ini have ReturnToCamp=1 and the /chase on is the ChaseAssist=1 in the ini to move camps., so you can see how the commands relate to the ini but do not have your chars chasing the puller tank while he is pulling lol. So / commands work without opening up the ini, modifying, saving, then rerunning /mac kissassist to apply the changes.

You can setup a multiline macro to start all characters by:
/bcaa //target (Your Sks name)
/bcaa //mac kissassist

just make sure you are ready to pull if your tank's ini is still in PullerTank, not sure if im doing things right but thats how i do it, good luck chuck, there are a ton of really helpful people in this community

For commands I have this page bookmarked : https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/kissassist-instructions-settings-info.26002/
