Jmo's MacroQuest2 Compile v27.1

Notes:
--Current Compile Updated with: (MQ2-20090621) Updated: 06/21/09

A few changes:
1. Due to some concerns, MQ2Addicts is required if you're going to run our packet hacks. It should autoload if you use the Macroquest.ini in my compile. If not, please /plugin MQ2Addicts in game. Packet blocking is no longer part of MQ2Main.
2. MQ2RWarp, MQ2Piggyzone, and MQ2Pax are all 3 separate plugins. This will make it more efficient for updating each patch.
3. MQ2Pax now contains the following all as part of the plugin:
--/itemtarget
--/gank
--/speed
--/sumcorpse
--/saytarget
--/switch
--/sopen
4. PIGGYZONE IS WORKING...REJOICE!
5. Added MQ2Supercast V2.0 by zippzipp /scast on and you can cast any spells running
6. Added MQ2Zonelock /zlock on locks you inside your current zone

Known Issues: Warning! This is posted by DKAA at the MQ2 Forums: "DO NOT USE /macro IN A MACRO. The parser sucks and it will skip the first line in the invoked macro. You have been warned."

The updated MQ2DoCrack.ini is included. Thanks again to Czarman!

I'll say it again just in case it was missed: MQ2ADDICTS is REQUIRED if you want to use our packet hacks. Please be sure to load (/plugin MQ2Addicts) it in game if you do not use the Macroquest.ini I provide, which will load it automatically.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

ATTENTION:

Plugin Authors, if your plugin is included in this compile, and you don't want it to be, send me a PM and I will remove it immediately.

*** REMEMBER: Commands listed below will not work unless you load the plugin that enables them first!!!

I have temporarily removed the non updated plugins from this list as they are no longer in the compile untill we get them fixed.

If there is a *before the plugin name in the list, I consider it to be an active hack.

If there is a *before the plugin name in the list, I consider it to be a semi-active hack (maybe noticeable to others in some circumstances).

Rich (BB code):
Inspired by Fibby's MQ2MasterMind. MQ2Mastermind was good because it let me control my bots, and have them run macros w/o actually looking at that screen and manually fiddle with buttons. I found I would also have situations where I'd want friends to control my toons, for situations where one of us would fall asleep etc...but MQ2MasterMind only allows 1 controller.

The next problem is each time the bot is run, you need to resend the password. When someone sends a blank password, like many do in eq, it would accept it. Not good for a random person checking to see if you've zoned sees "I will do you bidding"...

I made MQ2Slave to address all these issues.
To start it, type /plugin mq2slave
To add someone named "Mrmath" to the master list, type /addmaster mrmath
To remove "Mrmath" from the master list, you need to type /remmaster Mrmath
*Note* removing masters is case sensitive, adding them is not.
That is all there is to it, if any of the masters in the .ini file send the slave a tell starting with / then the slave will do it.

The list of masters is saved in the MQ2Slave.ini file which is completely customized the first time you run MQ2Slave and is edited via eq (you don't have to open the .ini file).

MQ2SpellHotkeys - allows a user to specify in an ini spell / hotkey combos

Usage
Rich (BB code):
    /autohotkey < on | off | list <...> | reload | addchat <chatname> | remchat <chatname> | setpopups <...> | save  >
          /autohotkey list < all | state | chats | popups | hotkeys >
          /autohotkey setpopus < all | < NameOfPopUp > > < TRUE | FALSE >
Alias: /ahk is the alias for /autohotkey

-on: turns auto hotkey on

-off: turns auto hotkey off

-reload: reloads all info from the user's .ini in the release folder

-list: show list usage
---all: list all information
---state: show autohotkey state
---chats: show all default chat channels
---popups: show pop up states
---hotkeys: show spell / hotkeys combo

-addchat <chatname>: adds specified chat to the default chats list

-remchat <chatname>: removes specified chat from the default chats list

-setpopups < all | NameOfPopUp > < TRUE | FALSE >
---all: sets all popups
---NameOfPopUp: One of the categories such as OnHit or OnResist etc.

-save: saves the state (on or off) and default chats list to the .ini

Example INI
Rich (BB code):
; Filename: hotkeys_Soandso_Innoruuk.ini
; In the Default section, the chat's must be labeled in order.
; Doesn't matter the physical placement, just the numbers without skipping.

; not be sent.
[Default]

; the same exact name. They all have to start with one of the 3 categories.
; One field can be DoPopUps which enables popup messages for any of the
; categories allowed in the PopUps section. If not included it's assumed FALSE.

MQ2SpellSearch - Look up spells by their emote or name with search command

Rich (BB code):
   Features:
     - Adds /spellsearch command that you can use to lookup a spell
      by its name, or its casted emote text. Search is done on spell
      data in active memory. This is an interpreter not a dictionary.
    - Spells are searched for by an invoked thread, which on most
      machines helps avoid the 'freeze until search complete' syndrome
    - The dedicated window mode uses the default chatbox, no MQUI files needed

   Setup:
     - You need to setup your Settings section of your MQ2SpellSearch.ini
      or the plugin will not give you more than 1 match ever. Ex:
      [Settings]
       UseWnd=1
       MaxResults=15
    - The window is NOT shown by default at all. When you use a
      /spellsearch, the window will be visible.
      (Press ESC to hide it, output is not lost)
    - Window settings are saved per server per char name in the ini,
      only when the window class is destroyed. ie: game process does
      a OnCleanUI() or plugin is unloaded.

When using the separate window, it looks like this:

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Let me know if there's any issues. I hear there are a couple bugs in the MQ2 Source, so I'll get it updated again as soon as they release a new one.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

good job jmo!

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Loading DoCrack plugin causes CTD for me

Edit: Loading without docrack CTD also

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

CTD's on loading plugins
CTD on reloadUI
CTD on running macro

I d/l'd and compiled the one from macroquest2.com with no CTD issues. Updated to JMO's and CTD's

Plugins loading:
[Plugins]
mq2labels=mq2labels
mq2itemdisplay=mq2itemdisplay
mq2custombinds=mq2custombinds

I'm using it just fine atm. Try putting it into a fresh directory and loading it up. If that doesn't work, try to fix "/mq2supercast=mq2supercast" with "mq2supercast=mq2supercast".

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Just woke up :-) I'll clean out the directory and try again. I know the supercast is not the issue as I'm using it on 2 computers and did not make the typo on the second, however, both are CTD'ing.

Edit: UPDATE: Still CTD. Deleted Directory, redownloaded above, copied my macro directory and custom ini files. Entered game, went to bathroom, came back to CTD.

I am going to restore my compiled version from macroquest site as that works without ctd. However, my version does not have all the cool little goodies that I've come to rely on. I'll keep checking this forum.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

I decided to be a little more helpful than just reloading my compile.

I removed all the plugins, then added them back 1 at a time. The two plugins that repeatedly CTD me are SuperCast and DoCrack.

Testing:
Removed both plugins, unload/reloaded MQ, no crashes.
Added back SuperCast, unload/reload MQ, CTD (repeatable every time)
Removed SuperCast, added DoCrack, CTD (repeatable everytime)
Removed both again, no crashes.

Test2:
Rebooted
Removed MQUI_DoCrackWnd.xml version 06/18/2009, replaced with previous version
Added back DoCrack plugin, crashed to server select screen (repeated everytime)
Removed all MQUI_DoCrackWnd.xml versions, crashed to server select screen (repeated everytime)

Test3:
Rebooted
Removed DoCrack again, did not load supercast, no crashes so far

Add'l Note: Running my compile on this computer, no crashes
Running the Vanilla V27 on another computer, no crashes

Hope this helps

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

it looks like '/docrack weightlock' is causing a ctd, but everything else is smooth :)

Hence why I posted this about a hour or two ago :

http://forums.notaddicted.com/showthread.php?p=180501#post180501

The manual changes are:
Rich (BB code):
[SwapWhileCasting]
Description="Move Items While Casting"
Version="2009.06.18"
Address0=5DA23F
Normal0="7E"
Crack0="EB"
Address1=5DA26F

Crack1="EB"

[WeightLock]
Description="Locks your weight at 24."
Version="2009.06.18"
Address0=64B631
Normal0="8B 91 64 21 00 00"
Crack0="90 90 90 90 90 90"

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

I was not running either of those (as ''on''), but I will make the changes and try again.

Also, SuperCast CTD even without DoCrack loaded. That is probably an issue of its own. SCast has not really worked in the past 2 patches.

Edit: UPDATE: Making the changes per Czarman seems to have worked, including putting back the recent DC window. Thank you Cz. SCast still CTD.

Hmm, what exactly is supercast? Does it use opcodes? If so perhaps it needs to be updated. JMO let me know if I can help there.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

I'll check the old opcodes when I get home and shoot you a PM.

supercast basically records the loc that you were at when you started casting a spell and warps you to the point where you casted it right before it goes off then warps you back to where you were.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

I haven't used it yet. Does the /start forage mean that it will automatically forage whenever I can forage again? I mean, even if I'm running or in a fight, it will do the forage for me?

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Current compile cuts off names... only issue i saw but not noramlly, example soandso of the dragonkin becomes soandso ragonkin

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Known issue with MQ2. Checking to see if new source is up.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

With MQ loaded, I die and in the hovering state I crash once I take rez and pop into zone. If I return to bind and then take rez I dont crash. I dont have any plugins loaded except for what the compile auto loads. If MQ loaded is not loaded then I dont crash when taking rez while hovering.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Hi im just enquiring and with no accusations but my anti virus program has picked up a virus one in the JMO's Compile.zip and the SDSURFACE.EXE and im not sure how this has got there, the virus is called Artemis!AC634A777865 , just asking if any one else has found this or if its just isolated to my Pc but my antivirus pulled the compile zip up also.... please advise if you have any info

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Clean using McAfee Enterprise 8.5i

You may want to do a full system scan on your box.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

Hi thanks Alatyami it was my McAfee that picked it up and quarantined it, but i was just asking out there if any one else had found any Trojans, many people dont use antivirus very well inc me at times, Just wondered if my info would help any one out. Thanks again, I would die without our MQ2......

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

wasnt in the compile at least mcafee didnt pick up for me and i scanned just to be safe. must have had it before you dl and it managed to insert itself into your compile. Just a guess.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

I scanned mine to be safe as well. Nothing. Has to be something you picked up on your end.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

No viruses here, and I have downloaded many files from this site. I always keep Norton on and it runs automatically on every file downloaded as well as full scan every week.

If I recall, the only executable in JMO's compiles is the macroquest2.exe, and that's not infected.

It's possible that something someone uploads to the site might be infected, but again, I don't recall any files downloaded that could be. > .mac files are not infectable.

Hope this helps :-)

Edit to add: I reread your note about the SDSurface.exe, mine is clean :-) I also forgot the EQGame.exe that others upload. It could be infected (I doubt it tho), but there is no reason for anyone to download that except to get the offsets, and that's if they don't have access to their own.

Re: Jmo's Official Compile v27.0 (Patch Much?!)

That's great thanks every one, glad it's just me, I'll try track my problem down, many thanks jmo for your info also.........

Im still running 27.0 with no issues :) should I download the new compile ? or just stay with whats working ?

Thanks again for the great work JMO. your the man bud :)

There were some minor updates. No need to repatch unless you are having issues with v27.0

Started seeing an issue today with chat windows, guild managment, and quest journal winodws, for instance, acting flaky. Never seen this before. When I close my map window everything behaves as normal again. Bring up the map and poof, windows start acting weird again. Any ideas?

You're in a highly populated zone, more than likely with a large abundance of NPCs. Known issue with MQ2 in general. Map can only support so much info and some zones push it over the edge. Good example of a zone like this is Katta.

Yeah, this happened first time tonight in Dragonscale Hills. Other zones seemed ok after that. Thanks for the heads up.

Another Patch !!! I cant believe we have had so much down time recently, you guys must get so sick of re-doing MQ2 every week or three..... ; ( but thank you for always sticking with it for us.....
