Is EQ Updating atm? (1 Viewer)

3-8-05, is EverQuest Updating atm? And if so, anyone know if MQ2 will be down until we get update or is this not going to affect it?
Not able to login atm, was just wondering

Well that all depnds on one thing if everquest.exe is updated if yes then we will have to get new hacks and wait for new mq2 and if no then the current hacks should be good and so shouldnt mq2.

Im still not able to log in after server screen... is this a problem on my side or is everyone having the same issue b/c of server troubles/updates?

I think it might be you because i was able to login last night fine and my eq client didnt download a thing.

What is actually happening? are you getting an error? Or does it give the "can not log in at this time" message?

Reviewing your message again ... There are a few resolutions to the client crashing to desktop after the character select screen. Here is a general checklist:

Make sure you have the latest DirectX installed.
Check the EQ site and download the latest drivers for your video card.
Conduct a full file scan on the EQ Updater.

If this doen't help ... no worries ... still have more tricks up my sleeves
