Question - Instances for leveling 85+ Heroics

Challenge: level 3 85 Heroics to 92

Seems easy right?

Some restrictions:

• Instances only
• No outside buffs/help
• No extra gearing

So we need ideas for instances suitable to bring a Heroic 85 team to at least 87 and preferably 92.

Group makeup would be 1 chanter/ 2 mages + 3 mercs(all A2). Could change the composition to different classes but again no extra gearing besides the starting T1 85ish gear. Thus heroic tanks will suffer more. Tanking at 85 in Heroic gear without augs and additional gear is no fun.

Since Heroic characters are pretty gimpy the perfect mobs would be level 80ish to start, like the rats in Erudin Burning.

My ideas so far:

• Gribbles while avoiding named(which I think are still tuned for 100 since 2014)
• TBM when it opens to F2P
• Mech guardian even has respawns but I hated navigation in that zone
• Zeka/Beza instances (no respawn but can reget I suppose)

I am thinking some instances in SOD/Underfoot/HOT era should be suitable. Maybe even some raid instances from earlier eras?

Any more ideas?

Underfoot zones, if I recall correctly Anticrex, Anticrux, Antifuck? That place has a decent instance.

They also have kill tasks that aren't instanced which are easy enough to do.


Also Seeds of Destruction has a few instances involving Kaesora. They don't respawn but they come with Kaesora almost fully popped. If I remember correctly you have to do some progression for them though



Another thing to keep in mind is the SoD zone Blackburrow is still locked behind a quest - meaning it kind of works as an instance despite not actually being an instance. They never lifted that flag requirement and I doubt many people bother to go there and level their characters.
