Searched and found nothing that clues me on this....
Not all, but some of the CWTN plugins that I have purchased will end up defaulting to chase mode when i specifically have set the ini to mode=0, so it will open up in manual mode which I prefer.
mage for sure does this and shaman - sk does not - too early for me to say for sure about enchanter and cleric.

What would cause the INI to change like that, after I edit and save it?

None of them change stuff by themselves. If you were day, in a pulling tank mode and went to another zone by reviving from death or evac, we would swap your mode to tank mode - but not change your ini setting.

The slash commands save the values, the UI window does not.

Sic will probably chime in here, but I think the general consensus is leave the .ini's alone and issue direct commands in game to save settings.

/mag mode 0
/mag burnalways 1

etc. That should in theory, resolve any issue you might be having with settings changes.

The ini is not intended to be edited by hand.

Use the hi for temp changes, or the slash commands for ini changes.

Last time someone SWORE this was happening, they had a cfg that changed their mind when going into pok
