Incorrect version

I downloaded the 6.1 version yet it still says incorrect version. Did i do something wrong?

Patch day.

Patch Day=new eqgame.exe=new version of eqgame.exe=incorrect version of MQ2=wait for update.

Follow this easy 6 step process any you too can be a MQ2 user!
(No you can't skip #1, go read it.)

1.) Read this
2.) Go get MQ2 or Redquest

a.) Download RedQuest (no compiling required skip to #4)​

b.) go get MQ2 source​

3.) LRN2COMPILE
4.) Load it up (Double Click Macroquest.exe)
5.) Load up EQ or WINEQ2
6.) Enjoy!
