Question - includes file for conditions?

I was wondering, is it possible to have an includes file for conditions that can be referenced by all characters on your machine? That would be awesome to have one source of truth for conditions that i could reference in all my character ini files.

Anyone ever do anything like this?

What I am thinking here is putting an include KAConditions.ini in my character config ini files. I should then be able to omit the [KConditions] section entirely and it will pull the conditions from my KAConditions.ini right?

I could have all my conditions in one file and every one of my guys running KA should be able to reference them. Am I thinking about this the right way?

I'm still learning about conditionals myself and was going to put together a cheat sheet text file I could copy from when I am setting up new ini's. I can't help with your question but I hope this thread gets some attention because I am very interested to know the answer as well.

The best/easiest thing to do would be to create a routine in the kissmycmds.inc file. Just add the code to that file to manage what you are wanting to do. Then in the characters ini file add an entry to the [StartupCommands] section to execute the routine.

Just the guy I was hoping would see this thread! Thanks for your suggestions, I'll mess with that this weekend and see if I can get something workable. If lightning strikes, I'll report back with findings!

I wondered how KA would know where to find my include file and totally forgot about the optional [StartupCommands] section and the kissmycmds.inc file. Now it makes sense.

Thanks again!
