Now I'm just wondering exactly HOW dumb.

Logged into EQ this afternoon. MQ2Targets did it's thing and sent the line

Targets: 1 shaman PC

to my main chat window. A few minutes later, I got a harrassing /tell that I needed to /report. I was so pissed about the tell that I didnt think and realized afterward that the Target lines were still in the chat window (The 2nd or 3rd line)

Does /report capture exactly what I see? Or just the info sent to the server? And if so, I assume Targets doesn't send anything to the server?

I'm just wondering how worried I need to be.

Reports do nothing alone. Unless you petitioned too, no one will look at it.

It reports the first visable line of text in the chat window and up to 20 lines of text following the first visable line of text.

thats a petition though isnt it 20 lines... not a report i never even heard of that to be honest.

Actually though report's description states it sends the last 20 lines of active text in the window, its been discovered it actually sends the last 1024 bytes from all UI windows (except the MQ window)

I noticed that the Target info doesn't transfer to the EQLog file. Is it safe to assume then that it doesn't transfer to the report either?

If it dosen't show up in the log i would assume that the client dosen't acctuly "see" it.
