EMUs are just a massive time investment, and eventthat investment doesn't mean it'll be any good or popular unfortunately.
Shards of Dalaya was an incredible emu server, but it was managed very poorly once the original creator/owner left the project for real life business ventures.
The content was great, the raids and group content were great, but as time went on the quality began to wane as older devs left and newer/less experienced ones replaced them.
New developer visions of what the server should be clashed with previous visions and lots of nerfs or encounter changes occurred. Items removed or changed. Special event type things made unavailable for everyone but certain players. Just some wacky things.
It once has close to 400 players nightly, not even prime time. Now it's a ghost town.
