I had characters on a live server and changed to tlp server. I kept the same character names. This did not cause a problem when I started using MQ2 on the tlp server. That server is in decline so I want to play my characters on both servers. When I started MQ2 the first time on the live server, the tlp chars ini files were overwritten.
After more than a year of tweeking ini files on the tlp server, they are gone and I didn't have backups. I don't mind rewriting the ini files as so much has changed and I would probably have better ini files with all the new stuff.
How do I keep the ini files from being overwritten? Is that even possible? I could keep them in separate folders and copy the ones I want each time I play, but I am hoping there is an easier way. Especially as I would probably forget to copy the correct files and waste a day trying to figure out what was wrong.
Please let me know if there is an easy way to keep the multiple ini files from being overwritten.
Thanks for all your good work in making MQ2 possible for us.
