I asked this question in the Support forum but didn't get any reply on it, so I posted it here. If this is the wrong place for a question then please feel free to move it or tell me what a moron I am for posting it here.

How can I insert a new spell in my Bard's spell line up? I tried right click but no menu. I looked for a button to "insert" or "new" but no joy. I want to change the spell that is setup in the Lua to a different spell.

Got to say, been loving this. Makes using RGMercs so much easier. And my Bard actually mezzes now.

Thanks for any help you can provide for this old man.

I don't remember if there is a BYOS option for RGMercs. But in the traditional way of things. RGMercs Macro and Lua choose these for you so you don't have to. RGMercs was built to do things for you so you don't have to think about it. Now, if you want a more customized experience, I would suggest Kissassist instead.

A little background info. Currently level 69. Group makeup is Pal, SHM, BRD, BST, ROG, WIZ. All except BRD is on CWTN plugins, BRD is using New RGMercs Lua. I had a lot of trouble using Muleassist with the BRD so switched to RGMercs.

I am wanting to change Level 67 Cantata of Life with the L69 Chorus of Life. I have been letting RGMercs determine the spell loadout, and I just happen to spot this. I have no idea what the difference between the 2 spells is, cause I looked at both and they are seemingly identical. But it made try to change them to experiment and see what the difference was. And I can't change them at all. And I see no way for that to be done. Hence the question.

Also I have 9 spell slots and the Lua only is showing 7 for this spell loadout. I want to be able to use all 9 now that I have them.

They both have identical benefits as far as the regeneration they provide. The lower level cantata song only effects the group, where the higher level chorus is an area effect song. The ae version of the song is only the better option if you want it land on folks inside and outside of your group.

If you click on the class tab, then click on config options to open that up you'll see tabs [buffs] [burns] [caster songs] etc. You can add or subtract which song line you're using. You can also have it use a dynamic melody or not. I have mine turned off, it's a preference. You may choose to have it on.

Play with the settings to decide what suits you best. Paying close attention to what your characters are doing and not doing is critical for fine tuning and tailoring them to your play style.

I recommend checking out raidloot.com. Click on the spells title at the top. It will give you the details about the song/spell you're interested in learning more about.

You have 2 options to change spells:

1) edit the main config in rgmercs/class_configs/brd_class_config.Lua and then PR it back for general consumption OR
2) make your own class config under config/rgmercs/class_configs/... and override your personal file and do whatever you like.

If someone wants to write a FAQ or wiki about how to do this I would happily give you lots of internet friendship points.
