how can i play eq at work ? (1 Viewer)

ok folks i need help
i downloaded EQ on my PC at work, all expansion
i know it s bad but could not help it
when i click everquest.exe, Everquest patcher launches, the 5 yellow bubbles are filled and i m ready to play
BUT when i click PLAY,on windows task bar appears PROGRAM ERROR and a window pops :
eqgame.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows


and game over :mad: i can t play, i can t reach eq servers or whatever

HELP HELP HELP
Anybody could solve that ? PLEASE



here are some infos :
i run windows 2000 NT, have direct X9
our server is our secretary' PC
according to her, we don t have a firewall and i don t know if we have one in fact
my video card is SIS 5598/6326, i tested it with dxdiag from directx9 and seems it s running properly
i don t know if it s important but when you explore the everquest directory, you can find files like vpatch/kpatch/ppatck .exe
when i click one of these, vpatch.exe here as example, i have this error message :

You might want to check your SIS 5598/6326 vid card against the list that they have that shows if its compatible or not, EQ is very picky about what it will run on. The voodoo series cards were long ago nerfed as a example. Also check to see if your RAM meets requirements. This game is a video, CPU and memory pig.

incompatible just means they can't guarentee it'll work.. give it a shot, it might still work, just.. very poorly. heheh.
