Config - Help With SK tanking & Sham AE slowing

When my SK tanks he is not casting any agro spells. and when I get 2-3 adds my sham does not AoE slow. Also, I would like all my Boxes to use Heal over time pots, how could I set that up in the buffs?

AE section for the shaman should be something like this

AE1=Tigir's Insects|3 3 means it will fire with 3 mobs in camp If i'm not mistaken. So if you want it to work anytime there is more than 1 Mob it should probably be set at |2

Don't know anything about getting Agro spells to fire.


I think you can put the HOT pots in the Heals section.

There is no defined "campradius=" on your SK

There is no definable DPS spells casting, other than if you loose agro in your agro section.

Shadow Knight AE abilities at level 60 lack. Make sure he's got Voice of Terris up. But at this level, I wouldn't rely on the aggro section so much as set up a solid DPS rotation as each of the DPS spells will add aggro. Below is one example, you'll want to make sure these are your best spells (I haven't played at this level in a long time) and you may need to play around with mana. The general rule for an SK is if his spell bar lights up, you're doing it wrong, but at this level, mana requirements may dictate something different.

You pretty much have to have your SK doing dps if you want it to do threat. The aggro section only casts spells if you need to lose threat (>) or need to gain threat (<). Sadly, neither of those mechanics work on the TLP servers because we don't have access to the threat meter for a long time. Your SK will basically only cast spells (and maybe not even then) if he loses aggro completely. Put your spells in the dps section like Marnan suggested. You can either set an SK up to do dps like they suggested, or you can set up a rotation for it using DPSOn=2 and cast a specific order of spells. I'd put your spears up higher, and end with your terrors, so they it'll cast them when the list is over more often (and gain more threat). BTW I don't play an SK on TLPs anymore, but the 2 terror spells you get atm can be cast together IIRC.

As for healing potions, just define them like any other heal. Best to drop them in your open inventory (not in bags). We can't click from bags .

One other great tip for SKs on the TLP servers. If you're tanking a MotM mob, using a pet gives you more threat. All pet aggro on MotM mobs transfers to the owner. Buff it up, pet weapons, pet gear, g2g. All the weapon procs, lifetap procs, etc will be little boosts in threat for free. (not that SKs really need help with threat, but it's free and costs no mana other than initially....also its an automatic mechanic)

in your aggro section change 99 too 100, since you saying if i have aggro lower than 99, meaning 98 and down, if you set it to 100 as soon as he loses aggro he will fire and pick it up. for ae agro put aa and one or two ae aggro spells in and just have it cycle them at 2 mobs or more.

and yeah dps section you should use a spear, a quick dot, and other dps abilities atleast, maybe en charge. i forget what its called, your sk is a good damage dealer even when tanking not taking advantage of that is not the best way to go.
