I just downloaded the red guide launcher and I am following the install guides. I have gotten to where I am to type /bccmd reconnect on for each of my characters but it tells me the command does not parse, any suggestions.

when you setup launcher, and then did launch MQ, was 1688184616370.png checked? its a standalone plugin that has to be running (either from launcher, or manually after you start)

Do yourself a favor and use Dannet instead of eqbcs. It just works better and you don't have to go through all the setup for eqbcs.

And welcome to RG, have fun.

If the command isn't parsed that probably means the plugin for MQ2EQBC isn't loaded. It would bind the /bccmd so that it knows what to do with it.

I agree with start with dannet but if you want to stay the course, try running /plugin mq2eqbc

what Byte said.. doesnt "parse" means MQ doesnt know what your asking it to do

Dannet is fine by me, just have to find a install video now. Thank you.

should have what looks like a console window (dont post it) running when your doing this. thats the EQBCSS service. i vaguely remember people with A/V and firewalls sometimes have issues? with traffic being blocked?
