Question - Having connection drops

Switched to RG VV from MMO MQ2 today, I seem to notice disconnection notices periodically. The game takes about 30 seconds to reconnect from what seems like a full game crash. I have checked my antivirus and updated that. Am I missing something? Thanks for any advice.

MacroQuest is just Macroquest.
the MQ that VV ships is just the regular MQ. there isn't anything that should inherently disconnect you.

I would recommend checking your AV/firewall etc and Windows allowing programs

Add exclusion from you AV for the following file locations:

1) Everquest Folder
2) Macroquest Folder
3) Redguides Folder

I’m going to say what this sounds like is a internet issue not a “crash issue”
Disconnects are internet issues
Not software related
If you had “crashes” you would have dialogue crash errors pop ups etc telling you something happened.
EQ would say “Hey EQ crashed XYZ”
MQ would say “hey yada yada”
Sounds more like your internet is acting up today?
Just going off your description thus far I would run speed test etc first

Necessary idea to keep the AV from hijacking files, and erroneously flagging safe files and quarantining them. Seen many instances of people having problems from this alone. Just saying...
