Problem - Having an issue with downloads from eqgame.exe

Not sure what is going on but, I ran the new updater and loaded my toons. One I target tank and /mac kissasst and they start buff routines I get a pop up box saying eqgame.exe is downloading from OneDrive...appears to be downloading KissAssist_Buffs. It downloads, shows completed...over and over and over again...freezing up any toons running /mac kissassist.

Haven't heard this one before hrm.

Curious if you are having some directory / one drive weirdness

Are you sure the updater is pointed to the directory you think it is?

Definitely sounds like onedrive is saying "hey we have an updated file, downing it now"

do you have the mq2kissassistbuffs plugin running?
andare you storing your mq2 stuff on a onedrive solution?

after further discussion on discord it definitely sounds like onedrive is recognizing that a file is getting updated and then trying to download it - I'd suggest moving your mq2 directory to a location that isn't being tracked by one drive or finding a way to ignore it (the directory or the kissassist_buffs.ini file)

Yeah it is/was a big old mess! I set up a new laptop yesterday since it was patch day. Spent alot of time building some ini's etc., made the mistake of allowing sync on set up of the laptop. Didnt pay attention to the string directory in settings on the launcher and had onedrive in there. Sooo now I have gone through and deleted every single mq file lol in the onedrive/cloud and pc and laptop and am reinstalling everything! Rather than try to find whats missing on the pc laptop. Good stuff lol!
