Question - Group/Raid Slayer cheesement nerfed?

Anyone know if having group/raid members in different zones killing for slayer was nerfed/stealth nerfed?
I just tried with my group sitting in the GH and one active killing in Gunthak. The group did not get credit for the kills.
It's been years since I've worked on slayer so I probably missed some notes. My apologizes if this was know awhile back as I couldn't find anything on this.

It's always been my take that for "Hunter" (for things like free bags) you can just be in group/raid but for "Slayer" as in for banestrike cheese you have to be in zone.

Ahh my mistake! I'm probably confusing the 2, Hunters and Slayers. Thanks for the quick reply!
