Question - Getting BOTS to assist

Simple question, and probably a simple answer. I am attempting to do the TDS event where you need to take 3 mobs health down, and then kill them all in rapid succession. The MA is a tank, with a enchanter and random 2nd bot, and 3 mercs. I pull 2 of the 3 mobs, mez 1 target and start beating down the other, the third target stays in camp and isn't pulled at this point.

When target 1 gets to 15% health, I switch to target 2. The bots + mercs don't switch to target 2 and instead remain firmly on Target 1.

I then struggle to end mac, stop pet attack, re-enable macro to assist tank for both bots, but it never goes smoothly and ends badly.

Is there something that can be done to get the bots and mercs to follow the MA target switches ?

/bca //switch

The bca switch command has never worked for me.

Are you running mq2eqbc? (/plugin list) /plugin mq2eqbc load

Are your toons connected to the eqbc server?

Are you able to relay commands to other toons?

One thing that helped me with this quest a lot was to change the DPSSkip number in Kissassist to a low enough number that my bots would not quite kill the mob. From memory, although it has been a while, this was about 30 or 40 for me. This way my wizards would stop nuking at that percentage and I could manually pilot my tank to switch targets and have enough reaction time to call for a /bca //switch. You may need to tweak this number, especially if you have dots, etc.

I wasn't using mercs so I'm not sure if this will work as well for you (I've never used mercs with kiss so I don't know if Kiss pulls the mercs off the target at the designated DPSskip percentage).

When I was ready to try and burn down the group of low health mobs I would simply broadcast a /bcaa //dpsskip 0 and start killing the mobs.

I don't use EQBC. But the /switch command is the one you're looking for.

Just hit /switch on each of the dps toons after the MT/MA switches target and they'll forget all about the other mob and reassist just like it's a new fight.

Chanter will mez the previous one you were killing... might want to make sure you nodamage-agro it or it can get memwiped from the mez and regen to full.

make a hotbutton with /bcg //switch on your MA,

you can just say Switch Target in your group channel and they will switch targets as well. I dont use EQBC so I just have a "Switch Target" Hotkey that I spam when I need to switch targets. Works like a charm

Thanks for all the tips. I couldnt get /bca //switch to work. I'll circle back around to that specific event and just try the /switch command.
