If you are having trouble in here being that you don't have a full group of real people to help you.. Pop your mercs. Cleric/tank merc works fine. I duo'd this mission with two of my toons and two mercs.

But you might say, I have no plat to keep a merc out inside this MM because the monster I'm playing has nothing and the mobs inside the mission have no plat drops.

USE BAYLE MARKS!
I claimed 20 free bayle marks on my toons from the claim window. ( If you don't already know bayle marks are heirloom and can be x-ferred using the shared bank if you want to use them on another toon after. I only went through 5 bayle marks during my first run with mercs.

If I had known this a day and a half ago it would have saved me 4 hours.

Please RC me if you find this helpful! Not sure who else already knows this but I wanted to tell you before it's too late etc. never know if and when they may nerf this.

Well, sorry to hear this was nerfed along with a lot of other things after the recent patch. As you know the fellowship trick was also nerfed. The patch said you can no longer bring mercenaries into the mission along with some other changes, notably making it easier and making the player monsters beefier. I care not though because I did this on everyone and their brother before the nerf. SoE can suck it.

Well, the nerf isnt a big deal imo...if you really want to just farm a quick mission for augs, do king xorbb. Any pet class can solo it; my necro can complete it in under 12 minutes. All you need to do is invis, run through the tunnels ignoring any aggro eyes, and go up 4 or 5 rooms to get quest updates. Then you only need to kill 4 or 5 mobs, return to zone in (necro evac is particularly helpful), and kill 2 more mobs. Easy peasy simple. And, since it doesnt lock until the last mob dies, I'd solo all but the final mob with my necro, then add alts to the task/drop my necro, and let my first set of alts complete the mission...then i'd do the task again with the necro and a fresh set of alts. very simple to farm mission.
