I am just posting the source in lvl 2 as I said I would in that public thread. compiles with dev-c++

Rich (BB code):
#include <stdio.h>
#include <tchar.h>
#include <windows.h>
#include <winuser.h>
#include <string>
#include <sstream>

void SetForegroundWindowInternal(HWND hWnd)
{
 if(!::IsWindow(hWnd)) return;

 BYTE keyState[256] = {0};
 //to unlock SetForegroundWindow we need to imitate Alt pressing
 if(::GetKeyboardState((LPBYTE)&keyState))
 {
  if(!(keyState[VK_MENU] & 0x80))
  {
   ::keybd_event(VK_MENU, 0, KEYEVENTF_EXTENDEDKEY | 0, 0);
  }
 }

 ::SetForegroundWindow(hWnd);

 if(::GetKeyboardState((LPBYTE)&keyState))
 {
  if(!(keyState[VK_MENU] & 0x80))
  {
   ::keybd_event(VK_MENU, 0, KEYEVENTF_EXTENDEDKEY | KEYEVENTF_KEYUP, 0);
  }
 }
}

	 LookupPrivilegeValue( NULL, SE_DEBUG_NAME, &sedebugnameValue );
	 tkp.PrivilegeCount = 1;tkp.Privileges[0].Luid = sedebugnameValue;
	 tkp.Privileges[0].Attributes = SE_PRIVILEGE_ENABLED;
	 AdjustTokenPrivileges( hToken, false, &tkp, sizeof( tkp ), NULL, NULL );
	 CloseHandle( hToken );

   {
    SetForegroundWindowInternal(eqWindow5);
    printf("Activated Window 5\n");
   }
  }
 }
 return 0;
}

It's a cpu hog but eh gets the job done. It works by first asking how many EQ instances and then finds the window name "EQW beta 2.32" and renames it 1 by 1. It then maps the numpad keys to the new window names. Finally it reads every keyboard key input and determines if its the numpad key.

Editing this for live or for more boxes is no problem.

Bravo! Sent you some RedCents. Thanks for the awesome contribution - Jmac. :)

Windows version is clean too.

Hey, How would I set this to use numpad 1-6?

Rich (BB code):
 RegisterHotKey(0, ZERO_KEYID, 0, 0x61); // register NumPad1 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, ONE_KEYID, 0, 0x62); // register NumPad2 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, TWO_KEYID, 0, 0x63); // register NumPad3 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, THREE_KEYID, 0, 0x64); // register NumPad4 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, FOUR_KEYID, 0, 0x65); // register NumPad5 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, FIVE_KEYID, 0, 0x66); // register NumPad6 key as hotkey

or

Rich (BB code):
 RegisterHotKey(0, ZERO_KEYID, 0, VK_NUMPAD1); // register NumPad1 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, ONE_KEYID, 0, VK_NUMPAD2); // register NumPad2 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, TWO_KEYID, 0, VK_NUMPAD3); // register NumPad3 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, THREE_KEYID, 0, VK_NUMPAD4); // register NumPad4 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, FOUR_KEYID, 0, VK_NUMPAD5); // register NumPad5 key as hotkey
 RegisterHotKey(0, FIVE_KEYID, 0, VK_NUMPAD6); // register NumPad6 key as hotkey

I don't have anything to compile this with and have tried to get ahold of jmac but I think he misunderstood me. I login with 12 accounts on one computer and was wondering if someone could compile this to use with perhaps 10 characters and make the hotkeys 0 to 9 in that order. Could anyone do that?
